I don't watch much TV (no time) but I have a favorite show. It's morbid and bizarre and so far from reality for me that its a great break. I am addicted to Dexter on Showtime. Its in its second season, and only a few episodes into it. I watched the first season EVERY Sunday. It seems like its the only time I 'allow' myself to sit and do nothing. I dont even fold laundry..

It MUST be good if you don't even fold laundry! Grin  We don't have Showtime so I haven't heard of it....but morbid and bizarre reminds me of "Six Feet Under" that I used to be addicted to on HBO!

The only show I've been watching regularly is "The Big Idea" on CNBC.....that's embarrassing to admit, but it comes on at 10pm and that's about the only time we get a chance to watch tv.   Embarrassed

I used watch Six Feet Under ALL OF THE TIME> The guy who plays Dexter is the same guy who was the younger brother in Six Feet Under.
The idea of the show is that Dexter is a blood spatter expert for the Miami PD..BUT he is also a serial killer. HE kills people who are BAD..ones that escape the system. There's now a series of books but I havent read them yet. On showtime's website there is a part that shows the differences between the books and the show and I'm not sure if I WANT to read the books now.

Wasn't Six Feet Under great?  Alot of people from that show are on other shows now.  The girl that played Nate's wife (was it Brenda?) she's on Brothers & Sisters.
